LAKE TOBA

             Lake Toba is beautiful volcanic lake with a lenght 100 kilometers and 30 kilometers wide, located in the middle of the northern of the Indonesian island of Sumatra. In the middle of the lake there is Samosir Island. The exotic charm a vast expanse of  the lake with shady trees  and hills is captivating. Not only that, enjoy the beautiful sunrice and sunsetyou can enjoy from the coastal lakes. From the Karo highlands in the north, the lake looks elongated elegance is seen from Sikodonkodon. On the west side, views of the lake and the island of Samosir can be perfectly seenfrom tele. There is a substation of view at an altitude of about 1000 meters from sea level to enjoy the sunset at lake Toba.

Komodo Island


      Komodo Island is located in Nusa Tenggarara Islands. This national park consists of three large islands of Komodo, Rinca, and Padar Island and several small islands. In 1980 the national park was established to protect the Komodo dragon and its habitat. There are 277 species of animal which is a mix of animals from Asia and Australia, which consists of 32 species of mammals, 128 species of birds and 37 species of reptiles. Together with the Komodo dragon, at least 25 species of land animals and birds, including protected animals, because there is limited or limited their deployment.Moreover, in this area there are also coral reefs. At least 253 species of reef-building corals are found there, with about 1,000 species of fish. The beauty of these reefs to attract foreign tourists to swim or dive in these waters.
These islands were originally volcanic islands. The population in this region is about 4,000 people. In 1986 this park was accepted as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
On 11 November 2011, the New 7 Wonders has announced the winners while, and the Komodo National Park entrance into the ranks of winners along with, the Amazon Forest, Halong Bay, Iguazu Falls, Jeju Island, Puerto Princesa Underground River, and Table Mountain

Indonesian Culture

Indonesia Culture can be defined throughout Typically an area that existed before the formation of a national of Indonesia, which includes Indonesia's culture is a whole culture of the whole range of local tribes in Indonesia.

Indonesia Cultural although varied, but basically formed and influenced by other great cultures such as Chinese culture, Indian culture and Arab culture. Indian culture, especially coming from the spread of Hindu and Buddhist religions in the country of Indonesia long before Indonesia was formed. Chinese culture in and influence the culture of Indonesia due to the interaction of intense trade between Chinese merchants and Nusantara (Srivijaya). They settled and married local residents produces a mix of local Chinese culture and unique. Culture is what later became one of the root than modern local culture in Indonesia such as Javanese and Betawi culture.

Arab culture into barsama with the spread of Islam by Arab traders who stopped in the archipelago preformance on their way to China.

The arrival of European explorers of the 16th century poem to the archipelago and occupiers that goes further to bring various forms of Western culture and shaping modern Indonesian culture as it can be found now. Technological, organizational and political systems, social systems, various cultural elements such as the economy, and so many adopt western culture gradually terintegasi in society.
